Use mock data instead of real personal data
Fictional test data is useful for screenshots, forms, QA records, demos, and documentation because it avoids exposing real people or private account details.
Label examples clearly
Generated names, addresses, emails, and phone numbers should be treated as examples. Mark them as test data when they appear in docs, seed files, or shared screenshots.
Do not assume deliverability
A random email, phone number, address, or network identifier can look realistic without being assigned, reachable, deliverable, or valid for a real-world workflow.
